Article Submission Guidelines
Whether you're a first-time writer or have some experience, these guidelines will help you put together a great article. Don't worry if you're not sure how to start — our review team is here to help every step of the way.
We write for students aged 13–18, so think about what would genuinely interest and inform someone your age. The goal is always to make medical and health topics approachable, accurate, and engaging — not overwhelming or overly technical.
- Articles should be 500–1,500 words — enough to cover a topic well without going overboard
- Write for a student audience (ages 13–18) — keep the tone friendly, clear, and relatable
- Include at least 2–3 credible sources such as journals, reputable health websites, or textbooks
- Use clear headings and short paragraphs to make your article easy to read and skim
- Avoid medical jargon — if you use a technical term, explain what it means in simple language
- Include a short author bio (2–3 sentences) with your article so readers know who wrote it
- All content is reviewed before publication — our team may suggest edits to improve accuracy and clarity
